PTFA & Coffee shop

The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) meets each half term and all members of the school community are welcome to contribute ideas and expertise.

The PTFA can be contacted via email at johnrankinptfa@gmail.com or visit their Facebook page at John Rankin PTFA

The PTFA takes a very active role in the life of the schools, serving refreshments at special events, organising discos, film nights and seasonal treats for the children as well as a combination of social and fundraising events.

All parents, relatives and carers are part of the PTFA when their child joins the school. Come along as a family and enjoy events like FoodFest, Bonfire Night, Christmas Bazaar or Summer Funfest. It's a great way to meet other parents and get involved in school life. It also raises extra funds for the school to provide more opportunities for our children.

Coffee shop

We run a regular international coffee shop and ad-hoc drop-in sessions. They are informal and everybody is welcome and so feel free to bring children, a friend or other family members.

They are a great way to meet up with other parents and to find out more about the school and local community. The pastoral team are also available to answer any questions you may have.

Our International Coffee Shop is from 9am - 9.45am in the Junior School Art Studio.
